In 1881 Nellie was living at Tremethick Farm with her husband William, their two daughters Lillian and Vivian, Ellen's mother Jane Leggo, and a general servant called Elizabeth Chapel. William was a farmer of 20 acres.
In 1891 Nellie was living at Tremethick with William and their two daughters. William was a farmer.
In 1901 Ellen was living at Tremethic Villa with William and their two daughters. William was a farmer and gardener.
In 1911 Nellie Hall, aged 65, born in Sancreed Cornwall (mother of 3 children, 1 deceased), and husband of 40 years William T Hall, aged 70, born in Madron Cornwall, farmer, were living at Tremethick Villa, Penzance. With them was daughter Lillian Penlerick (36) of Madron, married 5 years.
In 1921 Nellie Hall, aged 72 years 5 months, born in Sancreed, home duties, and husband William T Hall, aged 80 years 3 months, born in Madron, retired farmer, were living in Tremethick Villas, Penzance. With them were daughter Lillian Penlerick (45y 7m) of Madron, married, and husband's nephew Bertram Hall (41y 4m) of Penzance, single.
In April 1925 Nellie Hall, widow, was granted Probate of her late husband's personal effects.

THE DEATH OF MRS. E. HALL, OF TREMETHICK.
The death of Mrs. Ellen S: (Nellie) Hall, widow of Mr. W. T. Hall, of Tremethick Villa, took place on Thursday, at the advanced age of 89. Mrs. Hall, until very recently, had led a most active life, and had been a member and worker of the Wesleyan society at Newbridge and Tregavara from an early age.
The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon at Madron cemetery. The first part of the service was held at the Wesleyan Church, Madron. The Rev. Thorning, of St. Just, officiated, both at the church and graveside.
The mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Hitchens (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. C. Hitchens and Mrs. W. J. Thomas (nephew and niece), Mr. R. Hall and Miss N. Hall (nephew and niece), Mr. and Mrs. W. Bennetts (nephew and niece), Mr. J. Jelbert and Miss M. Reynolds (nephew and friend), Mr. T. Trevaskis and Miss V. White (nephew and friend), Mr. W. J. Thomas and Mrs. R. Hall (nephew and niece), Mr. L. Hosking and Miss L. Jelbert, Master John Jelbert, and Mrs. G. Reynolds (nephews and nieces). Mrs. Penlerick (daughter) was unable to attend....
The bearers were Messrs. W. Wherry, J. Thomas, R. Hall, C. Jelbert, G. Reynolds, R. Pollard....
The coffin was of darkened English elm, with oak mouldings and brass fittings, and the breastplate bore the following engraved inscription: "Ellen S. Hall, died Jan. 14th, 1932, aged 89 years."....
