In 1921 William T Hall, aged 80 years 3 months, born in Madron, retired farmer, and wife Nellie Hall, aged 72 years 5 months, born in Sancreed, home duties, were living in Tremethick Villas, Penzance. With them were daughter Lillian Penlerick (45y 7m) of Madron, married, and husband's nephew Bertram Hall (41y 4m) of Penzance, single.

INTERMENT AT MADRON.
The death of Mr. William Thomas Hall of Tremethick Villa, Madron, took place on Monday evening, Feb. 23rd, after a short illness. Deceased was highly respected by all who knew him. He was of a most genial nature, which endeared him to a large circle of friends. He took an active part in public affairs, being the oldest member, in point of service, as well as of years, of the Penzance Board of Guardians, and also a member of the Education Committee. He leaves a widow and two daughters to mourn their loss.
The funeral took place on Friday, Feb. 27th, mid every token of esteem and respect. The officiating ministers at Madron Wesleyan cemetery were Revs. Wm. Newby and E. J. I. Bradford, from the St. Just circuit.... Mrs. Hall (widow) and Mrs. Penlerick (daughter), being ill, were unable to attend the funeral.
The chief mourners present were: Mr. Hichens and Mrs. Hichens (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. Rd. Hall and Mrs. W. Hall (nephew and sister), Mr. Osborne Hall and Mrs. W. J. Thomas (nephew and niece), Mr. Harold Hall and Miss Nellie Hall (nephew and niece), Mr. Bert Hall, Mrs. J. S. Jelbert, Mr. W. S. Hall, Mrs. Wm. Bennetts, Mr. Morley White, Miss A. Hall, Mr. Chris Hichens, Miss Gwen Hall, Mr. W. Reynolds, Miss Millie Jelbert, Mr. Thos. Trevaskis, and Miss Olive Jelbert (nephews and nieces), Mr. Jas. White and Miss Reynolds (brother-in-law and friend), Messrs. Jos. S. Jelbert, W. J. Thomas, Wm. Bennetts, G. Reynolds, and Jack Trevaskis (nephews-in-law)....
The coffin was of darkened panelled American elm with light oak moulds and heavy brass furniture. The breastplate bore the following: "William Thomas Hall, died Feb. 23rd, 1925, aged 84 years."...
