In 1850 Mary was a beneficiary of her father's will.

In 1851 Mary Ralph, aged 44, born in Cury Cornwall, and husband Henry Ralph, aged 51, born in St. Martin Cornwall, ag labourer, were living in Churchtown, Cury. With them were children Elizth. (15) of Phillack, scholar, Mary J. (12) of St. Erth, deaf, and Henry (10) of Mylor, scholar.

In 1861 Mary Ralph, aged 54, born in Cury Cornwall, and husband Henry Ralph, aged 62, born in St. Martin Cornwall, grocer & tin dealer, were living in Torleven, Sithney, Cornwall. With them were children Elizabeth (25) of Phillack, dressmaker, Mary J. (22) of St. Erth, deaf, and Henry (20) of Mylor, joiner. Visiting was Sarah Pascoe (20) of St. Martin, unmarried, farmer's daughter.

In 1871 Mary Ralph, aged 64, born in Cury Cornwall, widow, was living in Torleven, Porthleven, Sithney. With her were son Richard (36) of Philleigh, married, ag. lab, daughter-in-law Mary (36) of . . . . . . . , and daughter Elizabeth Ralph (35) of Phillack, dressmaker.

In 1881 Mary Ralph, aged 74, born in Cury Cornwall, widow, was with her daughter Elizabeth Toy (45) and her husband John Toy (40) in Torleven, Sithney.

In April 1881 Mary Ralph of Porthleven, widow, was granted Administration of her late husband's personal estate.
