In 1851 Joseph Pascoe, aged 49, born in Cury Cornwall, farmer of 80 acres employing 1 labourer, and wife Catherine, aged 48, born in St. Erth Cornwall, were living in Trevedder, St. Martin in Meneage, Cornwall. With them were children Catherine (22) of Phillack, and born in St. Martin: Eliza (15), Sarah (10), John (7), Mary Lee (4) and T. Jane (2).

In 1861 Joseph Pascoe, aged 59, born in Cury Cornwall, farmer of 90 acres employing two men & two boys, and wife Catherine, aged 58, born in St. Erth, were living in Mudgeon, St. Martin in Meneage, Cornwall.
