In 1850 Joseph Pascoe was co-executor and a residuary legatee of his father's will.

In 1851 Joseph Pascoe, aged 49, born in Cury Cornwall, farmer of 80 acres employing 1 labourer, and wife Catherine, aged 48, born in St. Erth Cornwall, were living in Trevedder, St. Martin in Meneage, Cornwall. With them were children Catherine (22) of Phillack, and born in St. Martin: Eliza (15), Sarah (10), John (7), Mary Lee (4) and T. Jane (2).

In 1861 Joseph Pascoe, aged 59, born in Cury Cornwall, farmer of 90 acres employing two men & two boys, and wife Catherine, aged 58, born in St. Erth, were living in Mudgeon, St. Martin in Meneage, Cornwall. With them were children Cathr. G. Pascoe (32) of Phillack, and born in St. Martin: Eliza E. J. (25) and John G. (17).

In 1871 Joseph Pascoe, aged 69, born in Cury Cornwall, farmer of 100 acres employing 4 men, and wife Catherine, aged 68, born in St. Erth Cornwall, were living in Mudgeon, St. Martin in Meneage, Cornwall. With them was daughter Jane Pascoe (22) of St. Martin.

The Will of Joseph Pascoe late of the parish of St. Martin in Meneage in the county of Cornwall, farmer, who died 10 November 1875 at St. Martin, was proved 21 January 1876 at Bodmin by John Gilbert Pascoe of St. Martin, farmer, the son, and James Hebbard of the parish of Breage in the said county, farmer, two of the executors. Effects under £1,500. 2
