In 1871 Joseph Pascoe, aged 69, born in Cury Cornwall, farmer of 100 acres employing 4 men, and wife Catherine, aged 68, born in St. Erth Cornwall, were living in Mudgeon, St. Martin in Meneage, Cornwall. With them was daughter Jane Pascoe (22) of St. Martin.
