  Research Notes:

In 1850 James was a residuary legatee of his father's will.

In December 1840 James Kempthorne Pascoe was present at the marriage of his sister Lois Pascoe to William Davey in St. Clement, Cornwall.

In 1861 James K. Pascoe, aged 60, born in Mullion Cornwall, married, master [mariner], was aboard the vessel Calenich at Castle Point St Mawes, Cornwall.

In 1871 James K. Pascoe, aged 70, born in Mullion Cornwall, retired master mariner, and wife Elizabeth P. Pascoe, aged 64, born in Hayle, were living in Truro Vean Terrace, St. Clement, Cornwall. With them was daughter Catherine Stevens (34) of Truro, widow.

The Will of James Kempthorne Pascoe late of the city of Truro, gentleman, who died 15 January 1881 at Truro, was proved 29 January at Bodmin by William Pascoe of the parish of Probus in the county of Cornwall, farmer, the brother, the sole executor. Personal estate under £600. 2

James married Elizabeth Penrose Trenery, daughter of James Trenerry and Catherine Roberts, on 3 Feb 1825 in Phillack, Cornwall. (Elizabeth Penrose Trenery was born in 1806 in Hayle, Cornwall, christened 1 Dec 1806 in Phillack, Cornwall and was buried on 21 Jan 1888 in St. Mary, Truro, Cornwall, aged 82 years.)
