Grant for 5000 years of liberty to rest beams on the timbers or roof on the punnion or gable end of the malthouse on the land of 1), with liberty to remove, mend or rebuild

Rent: 1 penny.

Recites that William Freeman has with the lessor's consent built the northern or lower punnion or gable end wall of a malthouse in Meneage Street, Helston on their freehold land, being part of a smith's shop in Meneage Street, now in the occupation of John Stephen, being about 2' 6" deep and 20' 3" long; also a back wall adjoining and in the same direction, with the punnion or gable being about 19' 9" long.

Abstract of the Will of William Freeman of the Parish of Gunwalloe in the County of Cornwall, written 13 Feb 1785, proved 14 May 1785. 4

Gives and bequeaths £500 to his daughter Grace, to be paid to her out of his Dutchy estate in Trewenack and his fee houses in Helston, along with her feather bed, bedding, and furniture.

Gives and bequeaths to his three sons William, James and Edward his Dutchy tenement in Trewenack.

All the rest of his goods, chattels, real and personal estate he gives to his said three sons, share and share like.

Appoints his three sons, William, James and Edward, co-executors of his last will and testament.

Nominates as trustees his friends Edward John of Helston, clothier, John Dale of Gunwalloe, yeoman, and Charles Pearce of St. Keverne, cordwainer.
