Property: western tenement called Kestell containing several closes; the three cornered close; the higher meadow; the lower meadow and garden adjoining; the mill moor; the middle close; the mill close; with all cottages, gardens, orchards and all the land outside the mill close in the down, called Bossuen Down or Quintrell Down, lately in the tenure of Thomas Sammon, and in the parish of St Columb Minor; mineral and timber rights reserved. Part of Bejowan manor.

Consideration £290.

Term: 99 years, on lives of Elizabeth and Margaret Perrow, daughters of (2), and Grace Tregidgean, daughter of Robert Tregidgean of Goonwallow, Cornwall.*

* The above consideration must have been recorded at a date later than the one provided above, as daughters Elizabeth and Margaret Perrow were born in 1710 and 1713 respectively.

Rent: 27 shillings. One capon yearly at Michaelmas, or 8 pence. One harvest journey or 4 pence yearly. Heriot of a best beast or £3 6 shillings 8 pence.

Covenants:To pay common suit to the courts of the manor and such other suits, services, offices and customs as other conventionary tenants.

To repair and maintain the property.

In 1712 William Perrow, junr. was named in the will of his father-in-law Robert Tregidgon as husband of Robert's daughter Grace.

William Perrow late of St. Columb Minor died intestate. An inventory of his goods and chattels was taken on 16 May 1723 and valued to £314 10s. Administration was granted 29 Jul 1723 to William Perrow of Sithney, yeoman. 5

  Marriage Information:

William married Grace Tregidgon, daughter of Robert Tregidgon and Margaret Duncalf, about 1705. (Grace Tregidgon was born about 1676 in Gunwalloe, Cornwall and was buried on 7 Sep 1715 in St. Columb Minor, Cornwall.)
