 "Another old resident of the Port Gawler district, Mrs. Christopher Temby, sen., died last week at the age of 76. She came to South Australia with her husband, who survives her, 52 years ago, in the ship Harry Lorraker. They first lived in Adelaide for about five years, then went to Port Gawler, and had lived there ever since, with the exception of 12 months spent in Kent Town. Mrs. Temby leaves a family of four sons, three daughters, 44 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren." 5
