"TEMBY.—On the 16th June, at the residence of his son (Mr. V. Temby), Christopher Temby, father of Messrs. C. W., F. D., E. H. (Africa), C. S. (W. A.), P. W., and R. M., (suddenly), aged 87 years."

"Mr. Christopher Temby, who died yesterday at the home of a son in Fourth avenue, Alberton East, was a retired farmer. He was 87 years of age. Although he had lived at Alberton in recent years, he previously engaged in farming in the country. There are six sons--Messrs. C. W., F. D., E. H., P. W., C. S., and R. M. Temby: The remains of Mr. Temby were buried this afternoon in the Cheltenham Cemetery. The Rev. E. R. Thorne, of Alberton, conducted the service at the grave side." 7
