Jennifer PRIDEAUX

   Research Notes:

Some secondary sources show Jennifer having married James Moyle on 5 Sep 1841 in Redruth. However, given Catherine Prideaux, Jennifer's widowed mother, was staying with her daughter Jennifer Richards in 1851, James Moyle undoubtedly married a different Jennifer Prideaux.

In 1851, Jennifer Richards (30) of Camborne and husband William Richards (43) of Breage, miner, were living in Trelowarren St., Camborne. Present were children: Richard* (10) of Breage, miner, Margaret Ann* (6) of Breage, scholar, Jane (4m) of Camborne, mother Catherine Prideaux (60) of Camborne, widow, independent.

* Children of William's first marriage.

In 1861, Jenifer Richards (38) of Camborne and husband William Richards (52) of Breage, tin & copper miner, were living in 21 Turnpike Rd to Dolcoath Stile, Camborne. Present were children: Richard* (20), tin & copper miner, Jane (10), scholar, and William (7), scholar (both born in Camborne), mother Catherine Prideaux (69) of Camborne, widow.

In 1871, Jenifer Richards (49) of Camborne and husband William Richards (64) of Breage, labourer on the roads, were living in Trelowarren St., Camborne. Present were children: Jane (20), tailoress, William (17), tin miner below surface.

   Marriage Information:

Jennifer married William RICHARDS, son of Richard RICHARDS and Elizabeth POLKINHORN, between Jul 1849 and Sep 1849 in Redruth District, Cornwall. (William RICHARDS was born in 1807 in Breage, Cornwall and was christened on 4 Oct 1807 in Breage, Cornwall.)
