In 1851 Joseph Vivian, aged 66, born in Camborne Cornwall, manufacturer of iron, and wife Maria Vivian, aged 56, born in Gwinear, were living in Roseworthy, Gwinear. With them were children (born in Gwinear, unmarried) Elizabeth (24), Samual (23), Fradrach (16), and Edwin (10).
In 1861 Joseph Vivian, aged 76, born in Gwinear Cornwall, retired merchant, and wife Maria Vivian, aged 66, born in Gwinear, were living in Roseworthy, Gwinear.
