With them were children (born in Kenwyn) Ann (19), Elizabeth (18), Jane (17), Frances (15), and Eliza (14).
In 1871 Thomas Michell, aged 64, born in Gwinear, farmer, and husband Frances Michell, aged 62, born in Gwinear Cornwall, were living in Trevissick, St. Austell Cornwall. With them were children (born in Kenwyn) Jane (27), teacher, Frances (25), and Eliza (24), Thomas's father Thomas Michell (90) of Gwinear, widower, bedridden, and Thomas's sisters Dorothy Williams, widow, and Bridget Michell, grandchildren (born in Kenwyn) Sophia Mason (8), scholar, John Mason (6), scholar, and Elizabeth Mason (5).
In 1881 Thomas Michell, aged 73, born in Gwinear, farmer of 110 acres, and wife Frances Michell, aged 71, born in Gwinear Cornwall, were living in Trevissick, St. Austell Cornwall. Present were unmarried daughters Frances (36) and Eliza (35), and visiting were Thomas's sister Bridget Michell, and Frances's sister Jane Hodge.
In 1891 Thomas Mitchell, aged 83, born in Gwinear Cornwall, widowed, farmer, was living in Trevissick Farm, St. Austell Cornwall. With him were daughter Frances Michell (45) of Kenwyn, single, son-in-law William Thomas (39) of Kenwyn, his wife Eliza (44) of Mevagissey [sic] Cornwall, and their children (born in St. Austell) Ada A Thomas (5), Mary F Thomas (11m) and Edward E Thomas (11m).
