In 1891 Eliza Thomas, aged 44, born in Mevagissey Cornwall*, husband William Thomas, aged 39, born in Kenwyn Cornwall*, and children (born in St. Austell) Ada A Thomas (5), Mary F Thomas (11m) and Edward E Thomas (11m), were with Eliza's widowed father in Trevissick Farm, St. Austell Cornwall.

In 1901 Eliza Thomas, aged 51, born in Kenwyn Cornwall, and husband William Thomas, aged 49, born in Mevagissey Cornwall, farmer, were on Trevissick Farm, St. Austell. With them were children (born in St. Austell) Ada (15), Ernest (10), May (10), Bertie (9), as well as Eliza's unmarried sister Frances Michell (55) of Kenwyn, mother's help, and Eliza's niece Annie Mason (27) of St. Clements, dress maker.
In 1911 Eliza Thomas, aged 61, born in Kenwyn Cornwall (mother of 7 children, 3 deceased), and husband of 29 years William Thomas, aged 59, born in Mevagissey Cornwall, farmer, were living in Trevissick St. Austell. The funeral of the late Mrs. Eliza Thomas of Trevissick, Pentewan, took place on Saturday, the Rev. A. Wooding officiating.
The mourners were: Mrs. Sweet and Mrs. Sealy, daughters; Mr. E. Thomas, son; Messrs. J. Mason, T. Nichell [Michell], F. Truscott, J. T. Prynn, nephews; Capt. Sweet, son-in-law; Mrs. Edwin Mason, Mr. George Mason, Mr. S. Thomas and Mr. J. Thomas, friends....
