In 1861 Elizabeth Mitchell, aged 18, born in Kenwyn Cornwall, was with her parents in Trevissick Farmhouse, St. Austell Cornwall.
In 1871 Elizabeth Mason, aged 28, born in Kenwyn Cornwall, and husband John Mason, aged 30, born in Kenwyn, farmer of 253 acres employing 6 men, 3 boys and 3 women, were living in Menadews, St. Clement Cornwall. With them were children (born in Kenwyn) Maria (4), George (2) and Edwin (1) of St. Clement (children Sophia, John and Elizabeth were with their maternal grandparents). Also present was Elizabeth's maiden aunt Jane Hodge, annuitant.
In April 1875 Elizabeth Mason of St. Clement, widow, was granted Administration of her late husband's personal effects.
In 1881 Elizabeth Mason, aged 38, born in Kenwyn Cornwall, widow, formerly farmer's wife, was living in Pydar Street, Truro St. Mary Cornwall. Present were children Elizabeth (15) of Kenwyn, scholar, George (12) of Kenwyn, scholar, and born in St. Clements: Edwin (11), scholar, Amelia (9), scholar, Annie (8), scholar, and Fanny (6), scholar.

Elizabeth Mason of St. Mary Truro died aged 40 years (burial record).
Marriage Information:
Elizabeth married John Mason, son of George Mason and Sophia Henwood, on 26 Nov 1861 in Wesleyan Chapel, St. Austell, Cornwall. (John Mason was born in 1839 in Kenwyn, Cornwall and died on 15 Mar 1875 and was buried there on 19 Mar 1875 in St. Clement, Cornwall, aged 35 years.)

At the Wesleyan Chapel, St. Austell, on the 26th inst., Mr. John Mason, of Kenwyn, to Elizabeth, second daughter of Mr. Thomas Mitchell, of Trevissick, in the former parish.
