In 1891 Janie P. Harris (18) of Phillack, draper's assistant, was with her parents in Copperhouse Foundry Estate, Phillack.

In 1901 Janie Callaway (28) of Phillack, married, was with her parents in Ventonleague, Phillack.

In 1911 Janie Callaway (38) of Hayle (mother of 3 children, 1 deceased) and husband of 13 years William Callaway (42) of Hayle, mortar mason (own account), were living in Copper Terrace, Hayle, Cornwall. With them were daughters (born in Hayle): Phillis (3), Muriel (2).

In Jun 1939 Janie Polkinghorne Callaway, widow, was granted probate of her late husband's effects.
