Obituary
" Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Hampton, wife of Mr. Robert Hampton, retired farmer, of Kerang, died at her residence,109 Reginald- street, Quarry Hill, last night from an internal complaint from which she had suffered for some months. The deceased lady, who was the daughter of the late Mr. Tyack, of the Prairie district, leaves three sons and three daughters to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. All children except one son and one daughter are married. One son is Lieut. Robert Hampton, quartermaster of the Campaspe Valley Light Horse, whilst another son is Squadron Sergeant-major Richard Hampton, of the Kerang squadron of the same regiment. All the sons are well-known farmers in the Kerang district. The funeral takes place to the Bendigo Cemetery to-morrow afternoon."
