In 1841 Blanch Blight, aged about 60, born in the county, Ind[ependent], was in Illogan Downs, Illogan, Cornwall. With her were children: Stephen (20), miner, Jemimah (18), and Elizabeth (15).

In 1851 Blanch Blight, aged 70, born in Lelant Cornwall, widow, housekeeper, was living in Illogan Downs, Illogan. At home was son Stephen Blight (32) of Illogan, copper miner. (Daughter Blanch Rowe and her family were living nextdoor.)

In 1861 Blanch Blight, aged 80, born in Lelant, widow, was living in Illogan Downs, Illogan. (Son-in-law James Rowe and his children were nextdoor.)
