In 1851 Eleanor Cowlin, aged 35, born in Illogan Cornwall, carpenter's wife, and husband William Cowlin, aged 41, born in Perranzabuloe Cornwall, carpenter, were living in Brea, Camborne. With them were daughter Ann (9) of Illogan, and lodger Anne Cowlin (75) of St. Issey Cornwall, widow, annuitant.

In 1861 Eleanor Cowlin, aged 45, born in Illogan, and husband Willm Cowlin, aged 51, born in Perranzabuloe, grocer, were living in Bray, Camborne. With them were children Ann (19) of Illogan, Richard (8) of Camborne, daughter Elizabeth (26) of St. Keverne, unmarried, house servt.

In 1871 Eleanor Cowlin, aged 54, born in Illogan, and husband William Cowlin, aged 61, born in Perranzabuloe, grocer, were living in Brea, Camborne. With them was son Richd. (18) of Camborne.

In February 1885 Ellen Cowlin, widow, was sole executrix of her late husband's will.

In 1891 Ellen Cowlin, aged 75, born in Illogan, widow, grocer, was living in Brea, Camborne.

In 1901 Eleanor Cowlin, aged 85, born in Illogan, widow, retired grocer, was living in Brea, Camborne.
