REDRUTH.
News of the almost sudden decease of Mr. Richard Cowlin, of Brea and Carn Brea Stores, reached Redruth on Monday, where he was well known and esteemed. Mr. Cowlin regularly attended the meetings of the Society of Friends, and was a connection of the well-known Tangye brothers on the maternal side, and of the very successful mining expert, Capt. Oats, of an older generation, on the paternal side. Mr. Cowlin's sister married Mr. Edward Tangye, formerly of the Elms, Redruth.
