In 1851 Stephen Blight, aged 43, born in Illogan Cornwall, unmarried, farmer of 14 acres, was living at High Way, Illogan. With him was sister Jamima (29) of Illogan, unmarried.

Abstract of the Will of Stephen Blight of the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall, Farmer, written 8 Jul 1856, proved 28 Jan 1857. 3
Gives to his mother Mary Blight an annuity of £3 during her natural life.
Gives to his sister Jemima Blight an an annuity of £12 during the time she remains unmarried. If she marries, then she shall have one fifth of his leasehold estate.
Gives £10 each to his two brothers and two sisters James Blight and William Blight Ann Jeffery and Jane Gray.
Gives £40 to his brother Richard Blight.
Gives to his two brothers and two sisters Richard Blight, John Blight, Mary Hambly and Hannah Jeffery, his leasehold estate with the farm stock, goods, chattels, household furniture and live and dead stock.
Appoints his brothers Richard Blight and John Blight co-executors of his last will and testament, in trust, requesting that they assist the family of his sister Hannah Jeffery, so long as the amount of assistance does not exceed £100.
All the rest and residue remaining he gives to the said Richard Blight, John Blight, Mary Hambley and Hannah Jeffery.
