In 1722 Christopher Hawkins Esq. and his wife Mary received 10 guineas from the will of Mary's father Philip Hawkins of Pennans in Creed, gent. Mary also received £1,000 to be paid to her within six months after the death of her husband.

Wills to be buried in the same vault as her husband.
Refers to the will of her niece Anne Bassett* who wrote her will and divided her personal and real estate into four equal parts, one of which parts was bequeathed to her late husband Christopher Hawkins who in turn divided the quarter into two parts, with one to be for the benefit of their daughter Jane now the wife of Sir Richard Vyvyan, Baronet, a bequest which she now confirms. The second part she gives and bequeaths the same to her grandsons Christopher Hawkins and Thomas Hawkins.
* The Will of Mary's niece, Anne Bassett of Haldon House in Kenn, Devonon, referred to in the wills of both Mary and her husband, was proved PCC 18 Mar 1763.
Gives and devises to her executors in trust the sum of £1,600 to be invested in government or other reliable securities, with the interest to be paid to her grandchildren John Hawkins and Mary Hawkins, the children of her late son Thomas Hawkins.
Gives £1,400 to her grandson John Hawkins. In a codicil she bequeaths him an additional £2,600.
Gives £50 each for mourning to Sir Richard Vyvyan, Bart., the said Lady Vyvyan, to her daughter-in-law Ann Hawkins, and to her sister Jane Hawkins.
Gives £200 each to her grandsons Christopher Hawkins and Thomas Hawkins.
Gives £800 to her granddaughter Mary Hawkins, followed by an additional £600. In a codicil to her will she gives him an additional £1,000.

Gives to her grandsons Christopher Hawkins and Thomas Hawkins all her farming stock and implements of husbandry and gardening.
Gives £10 each to her servants Francis Trerise, Thomas Woolcock and Mary Edward.
Refers to the fact she invested £4,000 in the Cornwall Copper Company, of which she gives and bequeaths one quarter to her grandson Christopher Hawkins, one quarter to her grandson Thomas Hawkins, one quarter to her grandson John Hawkins, and the remaining quarter to her granddaughter Mary Hawkins.
Appoints the said Sir Richard Vyvyan, John Hawkins, Esq. and Gilbert Hele Chilcott co-executors of her last will and testament.
