In 1851 Sampson Cory, aged 20, born in Tremaine Cornwall, unmarried, was working as a farm servant for his cousin William Taylor (40) of Tresmeer, farmer, and his wife Jane, in Church Town, Tremaine.

In 1861 Sampson Cory, aged 30, born in Tremayne Cornwall, ag labourer, and wife Ann, aged 29, born in Jacobstow Cornwall, were living in North Tregare Lane, Tresmeer Cornwall. With them were daughters Majery (5) of Tremayne and Eliza Jane (2) of Tresmeer.

In 1871 Sampson Cory, aged 39, born in Tremayne Cornwall, farmer of 50 acres, and wife Ann, aged 39, born in Jacobstow Cornwall, were living in Tresmeer Village Tresmeer. With them were children (a)born in Tremayne: Eliza (12), scholar, John (10), scholar, and (b) born in Tresmeer: Samuel (7), scholar, Hezekiah (5), scholar, Sampson (2) and Anna Maria (1).

In 1881 Sampson Cory, aged 50, born in Tremaine Cornwall, farmer of 30 acres, and wife Ann, aged 48, born in Jacobstow Cornwall, were living in Village Tresmeer. Present were children (born in Tresmeer) Margery J (25), dressmaker, John T or F (19), and Sampson (12), scholar.

At the time of the 1900 U.S. Federal Census Sampson Cory, aged 70, born in England, farmer, and wife of 46 years Ann, aged 68, born in England, were living in Cold Spring, Jefferson, Wisconsin, USA.

In 1910 Samson Cory, aged 79, born in England, own income, and wife Ann, aged 78, born in England (mother of 8 children, 2 living), were in Whitewater Ward 1, Walworth, Wisconsin.
