  Research Notes:

Writing his will in February 1530/1 Nowell Michell als. Angove of Gwinear bequeathed twelve pence to his son Arthur Michell and sixpence to each of his children.

Arthur married Margery Steven, daughter of William Steven of Gwinear and Catheren, on 23 Jan 1620/1 in Gwinear, Cornwall 1. (Margery Steven was buried on 12 Feb 1638/9 in Gwinear, Cornwall 1.)

Deed to lead the uses of a fine, lands in St Columb Major, St Dennis, Probus and Truro, 30 Jan 1629. 2

(1) own one fifth part of Tresoderan or Tresodren in St Columb Major; also one fifth part of Dennys Vean or Dinas-asowan in St Columb; also one fifth part in Nanscavan in St Dennis, one fifth part of Ventangleader in Probus, and one fifth part of rent payable yearly to Francis Gregor for a house in Truro.

Marriage has taken place between (2) and Margery, daughter of (3); all premises except Ventongleader now in occupation of Isaac Michell, to his own use.
