The Will of William Blight of Grenifer in the Parish of Illogan and County of Cornwall, Miner, written 11 Dec 1832, proved 22 Jun 1835. ²

I William Blight of Grinefer in the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall Miner Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say

I give devise and bequeath unto my two daughters Keturah Blight and Jemimah Blight All those two Dwelling Houses the one adjoining the Eastern End and the other adjoining the Western End of the Dwelling House which I now occupy which said two Houses are now in the respective Occupations of Susanna Blight and James Rule and situate at Grinefer in the Parish of Illogan aforesaid together with all and singular the appurtenances to the same respectively belonging or appertaining And also all my Household Goods and Furniture Together with all the rest residue and remainder of my Effects of what nature or kind soever which I shall or may die possessed of by them freely to be possessed and enjoyed so long as they shall continue single and unmarried share and share alike Provided always nevertheless if either of my said daughters shall be married before the death of the other of my said daughters she shall from the day of her marriage have no further claim or benefit on or from the said property or effects hereby devised And the one that shall remain single and unmarried shall from the day of marriage of her said sister have hold and enjoy the whole of the said Effects without the hindrance claim or control of her said married sister And in case my said daughters shall both remain single and unmarried until the decease of one of them the Survivor of them her Executors Administrators or Assigns shall have hold and enjoy the whole of the said property as in the former case Provided always nevertheless that if my said daughters shall each of them hereafter be married they shall immediately after the last of them is to [be] married possess and enjoy whatever [of] the said property shall or may be left or remain at the time of the marriage of the last of my said two daughters as Tenants in common but not as joint Tenants share and share alike Provided always that no part of the said Property or Effects shall be subject to the disposal or control of my said daughters' husbands or either of them during the life time of either of my said two daughters —

And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said daughters Keturah Blight and Jemimah Blight the Executrices of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Eleventh day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty two
