In July 1833 Elizabeth Richards, widow, was granted Administration of the goods &c. of her late husband. His goods remained unadministered during her lifetime, Administration being passed in Oct 1867.

In 1841 Elizabeth Richards, aged about 50, born in the county, Ind[ependent], was living in Grenefer, Illogan, Cornwall. With her were children John (23), cop miner, James (21), cop miner, Mary (19), Jemima (17), and Susana (15).

In 1851 Elizabeth Richards, aged 61, born in Illogan Cornwall, widow, farmer of 15 acres employing 1 labourer, was living in Grinefer, Illogan. With her were children (born in Illogan, unmarried) James (31), copper miner, and Jemima (28), tailor, journeywoman. (Sisters Keturah Blight and Jemima Blight were living nextdoor.)

In 1861 Elizabeth Richards, aged 71, born in Illogan, widow, at home, was in Grinefer, Illogan. With her was daugher Jemima (38) of Illogan, unmarried, tailoress.

Effects under £100. 3
