In 1861 Elinor Williams (30) of Barmouth and husband William Williams (32) of Celynin, master joiner, were living in Bell Vue, Is Mynydd, Merioneth. Present were sons (born in Barmouth): Hugh Barrow Williams (10), scholar, and Robert Williams (8), scholar, father Rees Barrow (58) of Barmouth, widower, formerly master mariner.

In 1871 Elinor Williams (40) of Barmouth and husband William Williams (42) of Celynin, builder & joiner, were living in Glan William Is Mynydd. Present were daughters (born in Barmouth): Ellenor Williams Barrow (8) and Catherine Williams (4).

In 1881 Ellen Williams (50) of Barmouth and husband William Williams (51) of Celynin, builder employing 4 men, were living at 4 Porkington Terrace Llanaber. Present were daughters (born in Barmouth): Ellen Barrow Williams (18) and Katie Williams (14), scholar. [Ellen's sister Laura Garnet and her husband John were living at 5 Porkington Terrace.)
