In September 1688 Katherine Gartrell, widow, was granted Administration of her first husband's personal effects.

In 1701 Katherine Gartrell was the sole executrix and residuary legatee of the will of her aunt Ann Jeffrey of Crowan, widow.

In 1708 Katherine Stone was the sole executrix and residuary legatee of her second husband's will.
