In January 1870 John Norman of Severn-road Canton near Cardiff, wheelwright, was the sole executor of his mother's Will.
In 1871 John Norman, aged 52, born in St. Athan Glamorgansh., wheelwright, and wife Catherine, aged 47, born in Lancarvan, were living in Cowbridge [Road], Canton Glamorgan. With them were children (born in St. Athan) John (20), wheelwright, Ann (16), Catherine (13), and niece Sephirah Thomas (29) of Lancarvan, boarder.
