In 1891 Dan Norman, aged 28, born in Pontypridd, Glamorgan, blacksmith, and wife Marian, aged 26, born in Tenby Pembroke, were lodging at Prince of Wales Inn, Llantwitfardre, Glamorgan. With them were children (born in Pontypridd) John (3) and Marian (8m).
In 1901 Daniel Norman, aged 38, born in Pontypridd Glamorgan, coal mine smith, and wife Mary Ann, aged 34, born in Tenby Pembroke, were living in Aber, Eglwysilan Glamorgan. With them were children (born in Pontypridd) John Richard (12), William Morgan (10), Joseph Lewis (3), Elizabeth Anne (8), Jennet (1 month). Daniel's brother William and his family were living nearby.
In March 1909 Daniel Norman was present at the marriage of his son John Richard Norman to Annie Watts in Llntwit Fardre Glamorgan.
In October 1910 Daniel Norman was present at the marriage of his daughter Mary Ann Norman to James Robert Hughes in Llantwit Fardre Glamorgan.
In 1911 Daniel Norman, aged 48, born in Pontypridd, Glamorgan, coal mine hewer underground, and wife of 24 years Mary Ann, aged 44, born in Tenby Pembroke (mother of 8 children, 2 deceased), were living in Llantrisant Pontypridd. With them were children (born in Pontypridd) William Morgan (19), coal miner, Elizabeth Anne (17), Joseph Lewis (13), school, and Jenet (10), school.

TRALLWN SEPTUAGENERIAN'S DEATH.
The mortal remains of Mr. Daniel Francis Norman, aged 72 years, of 58, Middle Street, Trallwn, and one of the most highly esteemed residents of the town, were interred at Glyntaff Cemetery on Tuesday. Mr. Norman died on the previous Thursday after a long illness. A native of Pontypridd, he resided in the town all his life and had a wide circle of friends. For many years he was employed at the Trehafod and Windsor (Abertridwr) Collieries, retiring eight years ago and he is survived by three sons and three daughters.
The committal rites were conducted by the Rev. G. Shilton Evans (Vicar of St. Catherine's) and the chief mourners were: Messrs. Wm. and Joseph Norman (sons), Wm. Norman, Abertridwr (brother), James Hughes, Richard Northall and Wm. Morris (sons-in-law), Wm. Northall (grandson), Wm. Thomas, Garfield and Ernest Wilkins, W. J. and P. Norman, Thos. Powell, Rees Jones and Fred Morgan (nephews), Joseph Lewis Jenkins (brother-in-law).
