JOURNALIST MARRIES
Quietly, at St. Gluvias-with-Penryn Parish Church, early on Saturday, the wedding took place of Mr. Percy T. Spurrier, a member of the editorial staff of The West Briton, to Miss Phyllis A. Harris, for some time member of the telephonists' department of Falmouth Post Office. The bridegroom is the only son of Mrs. L. E. Spurrier, of White House, West-street, Penryn. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mrs. E. Harris, of 94, Killigrew-road, Falmouth. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. A. E. Harris, and the bridegroom was accompanied by Mr. S. Thomas (uncle). The Vicar, the Rev. E. H. Shore, officiated. The bride wore a suit in petrol blue shade with hat to match, and spray of pale pink carnations. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Spurrier left for a short holiday in Devon.... The couple will reside at Treetops, Marlborough-crescent, Falmouth.
