John Fox was bequeathed 20 shillings in the Will of his brother Thomas Fox of Illogan (1697).
In Apr 1706 John Fox and his brothers Arthur, Jacob and Benjamin were granted Administration of the goods of their late brother Emanuel Fox.

In 1728 John Fox paid 10 shillings 10 pence rates in Illogan.
In 1729 John Fox paid 3 shillings 10 pence rates in Illogan.
In 1730 John Fox paid £1 1s. 8d. rates out of his part of Nancekicke (Nancekuke) toward the reparation of Illogan church. He also paid £1 5s. for Rayle tenement and 1 shilling 8 pence for Hallendowne woods.

Ann Fox of the parish of Illogan, widow, Arthur Fox and Jacob Fox of the same parish, yeomen, paid a bond of £1,000 for Administration of the goods, chattels and credits of John Fox late of the parish of Illogan who died intestate.
An inventory of the goods and chattels of John Fox of the parish of illogan deceased was taken 9 Feb 1735/6 by John Gartrell and Thomas Hockin and valued at £393 15s.
Administration was granted to his widow and relict, Ann Fox, on 11 Feb 1736/7. 4
