In Mar 1641/2 John Foxe of Illogan signed the Protestation Oath.
John Fox was the eldest son and the sole executor of his father's Will (1649).
In 1658 John Fox was appointed one of the overseers of the Will of his brother Arthur Fox of Illogan which he witnessed.

Gives £6 a year to his wife Dority as well as her chamber. If she leaves then she is to have £12 a year and a furnished bed for her life which will be returned to his executor thereafter.
Gives 20 shillings to his son Thomas.
Gives 10 shillings to his daughter Ann.
Gives 12 pence each to his servants.
All his goods and chattels he gives to his son John whom he makes sole executor of his will.
