In the name of god Amen the xvith day of February Anno Dni 1648 Thomas Fox of Illogan in the County of Cornwall being sick in body but of perfect memory declared his will nuncupative in manner & forme following, vizt he gave unto the poore of St Agnes & to the poore of Illogan vis. viijd a peece: also unto his daughter Sidwell vs. and to Arthur Fox vs. and to all his grandchildren ijs. a peece, more to Kathren Wm vs. to David Bray js. to his mayde servant js. & to Mary Paule xijd. All the rest of his goods and Chattels he gave unto his eldest Sonn John Fox whom he made his sole & only Executor here being three & here present John Tonkin & David Bray with . . . . . . .
