In October 1834 Frances Sophia Swayne was present at the marriage of her sister Catherine Elizabeth Swayne to Edward Yalden Cooper in Wilton Wilts.

At the time of the 1851 England Census Frances S. Curling, aged 40, born in Wilton Wilts, and husband Thomas B. Curling, aged 40, born in St. Pancras Middlesex, surgeon, F.R.C.S., were living at 37 New Broad St., St. Botolph Bishopgate. With them were sons (born in Bishopgate Middx): George S. (5) and John A. (2).

At the time of the 1861 England Census Frances S. Curling, aged 50, born in Wilton Wilts, and husband Thomas B. Curling, aged 50, born in St. Pancras Middlesex, surgeon, F.R.C.S., were living at 39 Grosvenor St., St. George Hanover Square, Middlesex. With them was son John A. (12) of Bishopgate Middx, scholar.

At the time of the 1871 England Census Frances S. Curling, aged 60, born in Wilton Wilts, and husband Thomas B. Curling, aged 60, born in St. Pancras Middlesex, surgeon, F.R.C.S., were living at 39 Grosvenor St., St. George Hanover Square, Middlesex. With them was son John A. (22) of Bishopgate Middx, undergraduate Oxford.
