In Jan 1840 Frederick Hoad was present at the marriage of his brother John Fuller Hoad to Philippa Selena Schaedtler in Hastings St. Clement.

In Apr 1844 Frederick Hoad was present at the marriage of his sister Margaret Hoad to John Croft Plomley in Hastings St. Clement.

At the time of the 1851 England Census Frederick Hoad, aged 35, born in Brightling Sussex, unmarried, post master employing 11 men, was living at 54 High St., Hastings St. Clement.

In 1857 Frederick Hoad was sole executor of his mother's Will.

In Apr 1863 Frederick Hoad of St. Leonards on Sea, livery stable keeper, was co-executor of the Will of his late brother Tom Harold Hoad of Peasmarsh, Gent.

At the time of the 1871 England Census Frederick Hoad, aged 55, born in Brightling Sussex, retired job master, and wife Emma, aged 47, born in Greenwich Kent, were living in Hoads, Sandown Park, Tonbridge Kent. With them was daughter Margaret A (12) of St. Leonards Sussex.

The Will of Frederick Hoad late of Sandown Park Tunbridge Wells in the County of Kent, Esquire, who died 14 Jul 1880 at Sandown Park was proved 27 August at the Principal Registry by John Aird of 14 Hyde-Park-terrace in the Parish of Paddington in the County of Middlesex and Alfred Selby of Ravensbourne Park in the Parish of Catford in the County of Kent, Gentlemen, two of the executors. Personal estate under £12,000. 4
