This is the last Will and Testament of me Ellen Griffith of Tyddyn y coesiwr in the Parish of Llanfair in the County of Merioneth Widow.
I give and bequeath unto my son Griffith Griffith the sum of Twelve pounds.
I give and bequeath unto my son Edmund Griffith the sum of One hundred and twenty pounds and likewise the oak leaf-table, oak cupboard, oak round table, Carpet Bag and Skin covered trunk.
I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Griffith the sum of One hundred and eight pounds and likewise the Beaureau.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ellen Lloyd the sum of One hundred and sixty pounds and likewise the threecornered cupboard with all its usual contents.
I give and bequeath unto Howel Morris? son of Griffith Lloyd of Tremadoc Tanner the mahogany leaf table.
I give and bequeath unto Ellen daughter of my son John Griffith the Dresser with the Dishes and plates upon it.
I give and bequeath unto Catherine daughter of my said son John Griffith the round mahogany table.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my goods, chattels and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my said son John Griffith and do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son John Griffith executor of this my last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof I the said Ellen Griffith (the Testatrix) have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four.

On the 31st day of December in the year of our Lord 1844 the within written was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law declared valid and Administration granted to the within named Executor John Griffith, he having first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £450.

The deceased died the 23rd day of April 1844.
