   Marriage Notes:

"Wedding.

St. James' Church, Menangle, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Saturday afternoon last, July 29, when the Rev. T. G. Paul joined to gether in holy matrimony Edna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex McKnight, of Camden Park, and Anthony Walker-Woodward, of Trangie, son of Mr. Walker-Woodward, of Canada, and the late Mrs. Walker-Woodward.

The Church, which was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride, made a fine setting for the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, who subse quently gave her away, was attired in a gown of parchment velvet; she wore a cut tulle veil, kindly loaned by Mrs. Ron Smart, and had a top knot of white hyacinths. She carried a bouquet of cream roses, stocks and carnations, and on her arm wore a diamond bracelet which the bride groom's mother had worn on her wedding day.

The bridesmaids were Misses Lila and Heather McKnight, sisters of the bride, and were frocked alike in cherry red velvet and wore top knots of cream stocks with short cherry red cut tulle veils, and carried bouquets of cream roses and stocks. Mr. Paul Tremble acted as best man, and Mr. Allan McKnight as groomsman. During the signing of the register, Mr. M. Brien rendered the solo, "The Crown."

A reception was afterwards held at the Agricultural Hall, Camden, where some seventy guests were entertained. The bride's mother was attired in a grey wool georgette ensemble with black hat and black accessories and carried a spray of pink carnations.

The young couple later left for a tour by car, which was the bridegroom's gift to the bride. The bride's going-away dress was of pale blue wool-dechene with navy accessories.

The bridesmaids each received a birth stone ring as a gift from the bridegroom. After a short honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Woodward will make their home at the Trangie Government Experimental Farm, of which the former is one of the staff." 2
