Born in Breage; at 10 years old he moved with his parents to Sithney; worked on the estate of St John St Aubyn, Baronet, with his father until he was 21 years old; married Elizabeth; returned to Breage and lived there 7 years; adventured and worked in the tin mines for half a year and for the remainder of the year worked in the fishery, moved to Sithney; rented an estate of Edward Hotson of Sithney of the yearly value of 6 guineas for 2 years; then rented a house in Sithney and adventured and worked in the tin mines and the fishery; 2 years ago he came to Phillack; resides with his wife and 4 children: John (no age stated), Thomas aged 3 years, Elizabeth aged 12 months, and Anne (No age stated).
