Misses Frances Salway and Joyce Bennion (nieces of the bride) attended as bridesmaids. Miss Salway's frock of ivory satin, finished with guipure lace, was worn with a silk crinoline hat, trimmed with flowers and powder blue ribbon. Her bouquet was of water lilies and agapanthus. Miss Bennion was frocked in ivory crepe de Chine, with guipure lace, and her white crinoline hat was trimmed with pink flowers and streamers. Her bouquet was of pink gerberas and carnations. The two train-bearers, Misses Ivy Annan and Maud Salway (nieces of the bride) were frocked alike in ivory crepe de Chine, and they wore silver tricotine caps. Mr. Alfred Lane (brother of the bride) acted as best man, and Master Rob Salway (nephew of the bride) as groomsman.

After the ceremony the breakfast was held at Riverview, the residence of the bride's parents. On leaving for the honeymoon, which was spent at the Tweed, Mrs. P. G. Stewart wore a frock of cinnamon brown mariette with hat to harmonise." 3
