"The death occurred at a private hospital early yesterday morning of Mr. D. J. Stewart who for many years carried on business in Brisbane as a bootmaker and chiropodist. The late Mr. Stewart was a well-known identity, and took an active interest in the activities of the M.U.I.O.O.F., having attained the rank of Past Grand Master in the Loyal Prince George Lodge. He was 63 years of age, and leaves a widow, three sons, and three daughters. His funeral will leave Cannon and Cripps' Adelaide-street." 3 4
