THE LATE MRS. NEWICK.—The funeral took place at Sissinghurst Cemetery on Monday of Mrs. Maria Newick, of Willesley Pound, Cranbrook, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 84 years. She was a native of Etchingham and had lived at Cranbrook for about 16 years. Mrs. Newick, who leaves two sons and four daughters, survived her husband by about six months. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. C. Tomkins, and the mourners were: Mr. G. Newick (son), Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Newick (son and daughter-in-law), Miss M. A.
