Appoints his wife Mary and his friends Mr. T. E. Johnson and W. H. Woollett his executors, giving to each a broom and ring to the value of £10, or any other memento of about the same value if more acceptable.
Gives and bequeaths to each of his clerks and to John Booth his cellarman a suit of mourning.
Gives and bequeaths to his wife all his furniture, plate, linen, glass, books, wearing apparel, wine & spirits, and other effects, along with an annuity of £300 during her natural life.
All the residue of his property and effects he gives and bequeaths to his children Benjamin, Mary Elizabeth, Alfred and Charles, share and share alike.
