Cheltenham Funeral Of Mr. R. P. Weaver
The funeral took place at Cheltenham yesterday afternoon of Mr. Reginald Philip Weaver, of the Manor Farm, Kemerton.
Mr. Weaver was the second son of the late Mr. Philip Weaver, of Warden Hill Farm, Hatherley, where he was born 58 years ago.
After farming at Hatherley for a number of years he moved to Stroud for a short period, and ten years ago went to Kemerton. He became seriously ill about two months ago, and was afterwards brought to Cheltenham General Hospital, where he died of an incurable malady. Mr. Weaver married some years ago Miss Alice Mary Saunders, of St. Mark's, Cheltenham, who survives him.
The service at the cemetery chapel was conducted by the Rev. J. Mercier, rector of Kemerton, and the mourners were the widow ; Mr. Frank Weaver (brother) ; Mr. Frank Weaver, jun. (nephew) and wife ; Miss M. Weaver (sister, headmistress of St. James'). Mr. H. Weaver (brother, of Hatherley), Mrs. E. B. Weaver (sister-in-law) ; Miss N. Simms....
