In 1851 Ann Owen (18) of Penegoes, husband Evan Owen (29) of Penegoes, landed proprietor, and son Evan A. Owen (0) of Penegoes, were with Ann's parents in Penrhos Mawr, Penegoes, Montgomeryshire.

Unable to locate Ann and her husband in the U.S. Censuses. Ann's husband Evan Owen was staying with her brother Thomas Anwyl and his family at the time of the 1870 and 1880 Censuses.

Ann married Evan Owen, son of Evan Owen of Llawr Penegoes, Gent. and Mary Rees, on 14 Nov 1849 in Penegoes, Montgomery, Wales. (Evan Owen was christened on 20 Aug 1822 in Penegoes, Montgomery, Wales, died in Oct 1886 and was buried in Cambrian Cemetery, Columbus Junction, Louisa Co., IA, USA.)
