Abstract of the Will of Margaret Herbert of Peniarth in the County of Merioneth, Widow, written 20 Sep 1667, proved 4 Jan 1667/8. 2

Directs her body to be buried in the church of Llanegryn.

Gives & bequeaths all her goods and chattels to her daughter Catherine Owen and to Margaret Owen, daughter of her son Lewis Owen.

Constitutes & appoints the said Catherine Owen and Margaret Owen co-executrices of her last will and testament.

Gives to her son Edward Herbert £10 in gold.

Gives £5 to her grandson Mathew Lloyd to pay for his apprenticeship.

Gives to each of her four daughters Elizabeth, Susan, Anne and Bridget [blank with faded column reference]

Gives to each of her three grandchildren Margaret Owen of Caerberllan, Margaret Davyes and Margaret Nanney [blank with faded column reference]

Gives to her granddaughter Catherine Lloyd who served her 8 years [blank with faded column reference]
