Abstract of the Will of Lewis Owen of Penniarth in the Parish of Llanegryn in the County of Merioneth, written 12 Jan 1632/3, proved 22 Mar 1633. 2
Directs that his body be buried in the parish church of Llanegryn.
Gives & bequeaths 10 shillings toward the reparation of the said church.
Gives & bequeaths 12 pence toward the reparation of the cathedral church of Bangor.
Gives, bequeaths, devises & conveys those lands, messuages & tenements called Moylmon?, Govollian and bron y Clydowe in the township of Kutcrewe of [Meri]oneth to his brother Hugh Owen from St. Michael tharchangel for nine years, after which he gives & bequeaths the same to his daughter Susanna Owen and her heirs. And in default of issue he gives & bequeaths the same to his said brother Hugh and his heirs. And in default of issue he gives & bequeaths the same to his brother Henry Owen and his heirs.
Gives & bequeaths £100 to his brother Hugh Owen.
Gives & bequeaths £12 to --ynallt ap William.
Gives & bequeaths 5 shillings to his daughter Margaret Herbert.
Gives & bequeaths £20 yearly for the next 9 years to his daughter Susanna Owen toward her maintenance & education.

Nominates, constitutes & appoints his brother Hugh Owen sole executor of his last will and testament and makes him residuary legatee.
Nominates, appoints & ordains his kinsmen Robert Corbet of Humfreson Esqr., and Richard Prytherche of the Inner Temple in London Esqr. overseers of his last will and testament.
