Evan Anwyl (1719-1811), younger son of Ieuan Anwyl (c.1680-1722) of Llugwy, inherited a subsidiary property at Bacheiddan (Montgomeryshire). His descendants are farmers at Towyn. 4

And entered upon at Lady Day next,
Messuage and Lands, called Bachiddon,
in the Parish of Penegos, within about two miles distance from the town of Machynlleth in the County of Montgomery; consisting of about four hundred computed acres, now in the holding of Evan Anwyl. This farm lies together, and adjoins the Turnpike road leading from Machynlleth aforesaid, to the town of Llanidloes, and is but a small distance from Derwen Las, being a navigable part of the river Dovey, where lime and coal are had at a reasonable rate, and has a good turnpike road thereto....
N.B. Encouragement will be given to a substantial tenant, and buildings erected or made commodious for the Occupier.
Enquire for particular with Robert Lloyd, Esq. at Swan Hill near Oswestry, or Mr. Jones, Surveyor of the Turnpike Roads at Machynlleth, who will shew the premises.
