He inherited Llugwy Hall from his father in 1666.
He is said to have been buried 2 December 1686, though some sources state he was living in 1695 3. His wife was living in 1689, but her date of death is unknown. 1

Maurice married Joane Pryce, daughter of Hugh Pryce of Penmaendyfi, before 1678. (Joane Pryce was born in Llugwy, Pennal, Merioneth, Wales and died after 1689.)
