Abstract of the Will of Ann Gryffydd of Ty'n y Celyn in the Parish of Llanelltyd in the County of Merioneth, widow, written 17 Jan 1796, proved 1 Aug 1803. 6
Gives & devises to her brother Thomas Anwyl of the town of Carnarvon, plumber & glazier, an annuity of £12 for the term of his natural life, issuing out of the messuage, tenement and lands called Cae yn Coed in the parish of Maentwrog in the county of Merioneth. And in case his current wife Catherine Anwyl otherwise Gryffydd shall survive him, then she shall receive an annuity of £10 issuing from the same premises. Further, she wills a further annuity of £10 to their daughter Ellin Anwyl, spinster, for her life, free and clear from all taxes, impositions & deductions...
Gives & bequeaths £30 to her said niece Ellin Anwyl.
Gives & devises all her messuages, tenements & lands with their appurtenances in Cae yn Coed in Maentwrog, Tynycelyn in Llanelltyd, Ty Owen David & Tir y lin? in Maentwrog to William Oakeley of Tanybwlch Esquire and his wife Margaret her granddaughter, for the term of their natural lives....
Gives & bequeaths £5 to each of her hired servants that shall be in her service at the time of her death, over and above the wages that shall be due them.
Nominates and appoints the said William Oakeley and her granddaughter Margaret his wife executor and executrix of her last will and testament.
