Abstract of the Will of Robert Vaughan of Dolmelynllyn, Gentleman, written 8 Oct 1738, proved 27 Aug 1739. 2
- gives to his brother-in-law William Anwyl of Hengae Gentleman his heirs & assigns all his real estate except that which lies in Dolmelynllyn in the parish of Llanelltyd
- gives £300 to his nephew John Anwyl
- gives £300 to his nephew John Vaughan, the only son of his brother Ynyr Vaughan deceased 3.
- gives £15 pounds each to his nephews John Anwyl & John Vaughan, both under the age of 19 years.
- gives £20 pounds each to his sister (i.e. Catherine), brother William's wife and brother Ynyr's widow
- gives a portion of his real estate in Dolmelynllyn to his uncle Robert Vaughan and, in the event of the death of his uncle, to his brother-in-law (i.e. William Anwyl).
- gives the remainder of his real estate in Dolmelynllyn to his brother William Vaughan and to William's son John Vaughan by Ann his wife 3, and to John son of his brother Ynyr Vaughan in tail 3, his sister Catherine Anwyl in tail, his nephews John Anwyl & Robert Anwyl in tail.
